MAEVCON is a family operated and owned business. Our company name is derived from the initials of our children.
We specialise in construction and project management to help clients achieve their goals through our ability to effectively and efficiently manage and deliver projects from construction planning, design management, project completion through to post completion defect inspection management.
We want to redefine the building experience for our clients by providing consistent and transparent communication, be fair and ethical in our approach to all our operations with safety, quality and sustainability in the forefront to achieve the best outcome for the project. We will spend the extra time to ensure that the job is done properly the first time and to our client’s satisfaction.
As a registered building practitioner, MAEVCON is held accountable by the Victorian building regulations and industry standards and we are a member of the Housing Industry Australia (HIA). Our uncompromising approach to risk management and safety compliance assures our clients are protected and guarantees the success of the project in which ever phase or scope we are appointed. We only use reliable and reputable trades and all our work is guaranteed.

Meet Alex
Director and Principal Project Manager
Alex is a father to 3 human children and a handsome greyhound named Homie. He is a local Westie and coaches in an under 12's basketball team.
Professionally, Alex has over 20 years experience in the building industry, working for tier one construction companies delivering multimillion dollar commercial structures to luxury apartment buildings.
Alex has a Bachelor of Planning and Design, Bachelor of Property and Construction, a Masters of Property and Construction from the University of Melbourne. He is a registered building practitioner and a HIA GreenSmart professional.
